Nonprofits across the nation are contemplating how to increase engagement and contributions from individuals throughout their communities. Research highlights a tradition of philanthropy as one of the key drivers in cultivating donor behavior. Young people are invaluable volunteers, donors, fundraisers and ambassadors. They can influence the actions of their family members and communities. If nonprofits are to develop a long-range strategy for sustainability, it is crucial to connect with young people and their families.

The Colorado Nonprofit Association will host renowned speaker Susan Crites Price, vice president at the National Center for Family Philanthropy. She is the author of The Giving Family: Raising Our Children To Help Others, and has appeared on Oprah, Today and numerous other television and radio broadcasts and in many newspapers and magazines.
