Internship Description: 

The CELL Intern’s primary responsibility is to assist CELL staff with the execution of training initiatives and programming. Key responsibilities may include: assisting in the coordination and execution of multiple and concurrent projects, assisting in program logistics, and conducting communication with key stakeholders, and staffing the CELL exhibit facility. In addition to these responsibilities, interns will assist with additional CELL programming, including CELL events, and additional tasks and projects as they arise. Interns play an important ambassadorial role requiring tact and regular, clear communication with other members of the team and third parties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of CELL programs and projects as they pertain to its exhibit, national speaker series, and training initiatives such as the Community Awareness Program (CAP) and Boy Scouts of America merit badge programs
  • Assist with the planning, research, development, and implementation of CELL’s various training initiatives
  • Develop measurable project goals and objectives and monitor progress towards achievement
  • Maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders of the CELL
  • Assist with coordinating CELL training activities inside and outside of the organization
  • Deliver engaging, informative presentations, status reports, and progress updates to a variety of stakeholder groups
  • Staffing the CELL exhibit and assist in exhibit tours
  • Provide timely communication to all key partners and stakeholders
  • Assist with event logistics and coordination on various CELL community events
  • Database input related to CELL programming and events
  • Other related duties

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Can foster a strong working relationship with all CELL staff as well as a partners and clients
  • Must be a self-starter, completing tasks individually and cooperatively
  • Can manage deadlines and production scheduling on numerous, concurrent projects
  • Professional demeanor and understanding of the business environment
  • Fluency with the brand and products the CELL provides and capable of expressing them verbally to partners in a confident, compelling manner
  • Strong research and analytical skills
