Job Description: 

Northeast Denver Housing Center is seeking a full time bilingual administrative program assistant.

Start Date: goal December 4 thru 11, 2019

Areas of Responsibility

Primary Responsibilities are but not limited to :
 Take incoming phone calls to assist clients in need of housing related assistance
 Document incoming call and related information using computer based data
 Inform clients about the eligibility criteria
 Data entry
 Send out application forms, receive applications and file appropriately
 Prepare reports periodically as directed
 Make appointments for clients to see housing counselor
 Conduct telephone, email or electronic follow-up of assisted clients.

Requirements/Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office computer skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Ability to work respectfully with clients with differing educational levels, socio-economic levels, and cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work, often requiring basic math skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish verbal and written
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent professional work experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing required
  • Regularly walk up and down stairs
Compensation/Benefits

Commensurate with qualification – starting in the $18 to $ 19 / hr.
