Job Description: 

Growing Estate Planning Council seeks part-time Administrator to lead the overall strategic and operational responsibility for Boulder County Estate Planning Council’s core programs and execution of its mission.   This is a flexible position with a convivial atmosphere 

Areas of Responsibility
  • Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence, and consistent quality and accuracy of financial reports, communications, membership database, and other systems.
  • Develop and monitor annual budget with guidance from Board
  • Plan and organize 4 quarterly programs, annual dinner, and 2 webinars with support from the board and committees
  • Steward existing members and sponsors, cultivate new members and sponsors with assistance from Board
  • Actively engage and energize BCEPC volunteers, board members, event committees, alumni, partnering organizations, and sponsors.
  • Complete required reports to comply with State and IRS regulations
  • Foster relationships with other Estate planning councils and the National Association of Estate Planning Council (NAEPC)
  • Attend the annual NAEPC meeting
Requirements/Qualifications
  • • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • • Highly organized and attentive to detail. A dedication to quality and accuracy
  • • Integrity/judgment/discretion
  • • Positive attitude and self-starter who fulfills job requirements with minimal supervision
  • • Sensitive to member needs and wishes
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree required
  • Experience with database software
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Experience in working with nonprofit boards and membership organizations helpful
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications and social media
Compensation/Benefits

Salary:             Commensurate with experience

Hours:              Part-time, 10 hours per week, flexible schedule; vacation time

Training:          Training specific to Estate Planning Council policies and procedures will be provided.
