Do you enjoy financial research and analysis?  Are you interested in a career in institutional asset management?  Colorado PERA is seeking a professional who has experience with analyzing financial statements to work on our corporate bond team.  Our ideal candidate is a team player who is self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive manner, and can communicate financial information and analysis accurately and concisely.  If you are interested in working for a multi-billion dollar pension fund and utilizing your skills to help fulfill the retirement expectations of our members, this is a great fit. 

Areas of Responsibility

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides fundamental and relative value analysis to support investment ideas
  • Develops in depth knowledge of assigned sectors
  • Assists with trading including execution, compliance, and data entry
  • Utilizes investment software and spreadsheets to track positioning, risk and attribution of the portfolio

Requirements/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or related field; 4+ years of investment industry experience; CFA and/or MBA in progress; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • General understanding of financial concepts, markets, principles, and theories
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis
  • Understanding of macroeconomics and its influence on investments
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Bloomberg, and other financial software applications
