Articulating the fundraising goals of your nonprofit are critical to success in raising the revenue needed to support the people and services you provide. The fundraising plan is one of the most crucial and challenging aspects of fundraising. It will help you operate efficiently, profitably and build confidence in your fundraising program. A well-thought out plan will keep you from getting distracted by the “new bright, shiny object” that is the latest rage in raising money.

In this workshop you will learn the basics of what is critical to your plan and how it will make a huge difference for your fundraising success. Specifically you will walk away with information you need to write your own plan.

Presenters

Robin Thompson, Robin Thompson Training & Keynote, Inc.



Robin Thompson, MS, has extensive experience consulting with nonprofit leaders and served as:



- Vice President of Development at the Vail Valley Foundation where her development team’s fundraising goal was $10 million.



- Vice President of Development at Oregon Tech and was responsible for raising over $2.4 million in 6 months—more than had been raised in the previous three years combined.



- Executive Director of the Oregon Tech Foundation where she was responsible for managing assets of over $17 million.



Robin has a Fundraising Certificate from Indiana University School of Philanthropy, BS degree from West Virginia University and MS from the University of Utah.



She authored and published Know Stress to No Stress—Achieving Life Balance and authored Fundraising Fundamentals: A fun, step-by-step guide to raising more money, faster.





Qualifies for Excellence in Nonprofit Principles and Practices. Completion of a post-training evaluation is required for this training to count toward recognition.
