The FFN Subgrantee Support Contractor will provide support to subgrantees of the Family,
Friend, & Neighbor (FFN) Training & Support Services Program. The Colorado Department of
Early Childhood (CDEC) funds this reimbursement-based grant. The purpose of this program is
to support FFN serving organizations in providing FFN providers with valuable information,
training, and materials. Through this program, CSPC regrants funds to qualified local
organizations and groups (subgrantees) and provides them with support and technical
assistance to successfully achieve the goals of this project. This contract position will work
closely with CSPC’s FFN grant management team to provide financial and contract compliance
support for subgrantees to ensure their successful implementation of the FFN support and
services program.
This contract has a desired contract term from April 2025 to December 2026. This contract may
be extended or shortened depending on the availability of funds and the outcomes of the grant
deliverables.
Scope of Work:
During the contract term, the contractor will
- Manage a caseload of 8 to 10 subgrantees through round 2 of the grant process.
- Ensure subgrantee compliance with the goals and requirements of the program.
- Monitor subgrantee budgets, document submissions, and adherence to the conditions of advance payments for their caseload of subgrantees.
- Review and approve all reimbursement requests, document submissions, and budget amendment requests for their caseload of subgrantees.
- Provide technical assistance and contract support for their caseload of subgrantees.
- Collect and report on financial metrics for their caseload of subgrantees.
- Enter subgrantee data and case notes into CSPC’s program database (Zoho)
- Report on the financial progress of each subgrantee in alignment with the grant terms.
- Meet regularly with CSPC’s FFN grant management team and payment provider.
- Complete other tasks which CSPC and the contractor agree on.
At the completion of the contract, the contractor will successfully
- Manage the financial requirements for the 8 to 10 subgrantees on their caseload.
- Support each subgrantee’s full spend-down of their grant funds in compliance with the grant requirements.
- Collect the required documentation from each subgrantee on their caseload.
- Document the necessary financial metrics for each subgrantee on their caseload.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the Early Childhood sector, preferably supporting FFN providers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- At least 2 years’ experience supporting nonprofit grants management.
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, finance, accounting, or a related field OR certification or training in federal/state grants management.
- Working knowledge of GAAP, audits, federal and state grant processes, and/or other regulatory requirements in the nonprofit financial field.
- Detail oriented and organized, with proven ability to manage projects and relationships with both funders and subgrantees effectively and independently.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with Zoho (preferred)
- Highly comfortable working in a remote environment.
- Capacity to operate in an environment where Spanish is the primary language.

Location:
This position is based in Colorado. The contractor must live within Colorado and be able to
work remotely.
Compensation:
For the services rendered by the Contractor, CSPC will offer compensation of $35-$45 per hour for a maximum of 25 hours per week or 2275 hours during the entirety of the contract period.
