3 Part Fall Series Development- Donor Prospecting, Retention, and Stewardship.
Session 1- Fall Development Series-Donor Prospecting; Who Are Your Donors?- Thursday, October 13th from 10:30-11:30
Nonprofits need donors (individual, corporate and foundation) to be sustainable. How we find the right donors will lead you to fundraising success. Let’s explore where prospecting fits in the “Fundraising Cycle” and some tools to help you start the fundraising process. During this session we will talk about how to identify prospective donors, why prospecting is important and what we need to consider when seeking out new donors. The joy of giving is right around the corner!
Session 2- The Ask- Tuesday- October 18th from 10:00AM-1:00PM.
This session is for those who want to build and/or improve their skills and tools around ‘the ask.’ We will learn and practice using questions, the art of listening, engaging donors, and asking for commitments.
Session 3- Use Donor Stewardship to Maintain Your Audience and Grow Their Support- Wednesday, November 16th from 10:00-11:00 AM
It is easier and less expensive to retain an existing donor than to seek out and convert a brand new one. The best way to properly care for and feed your donors is by creating and maintaining a robust donor stewardship program. Donor stewardship isn’t just for major donors—take steps to help every donor feel the love.
