About Latinx Therapist Project
Latinx Therapist Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the number of Latino mental health providers and improving access to culturally competent mental health care in Latino communities. We support aspiring and current Latino mental health professionals through mentorship, education, and community-building initiatives.
Overview
The Marketing & Communications Contractor will play a key role in shaping and sharing the Latinx Therapist Project’s message with community members and prospective partners.
The contractor will be working on projects for our social media presence, creating engaging marketing materials, and supporting the development of communication strategies to amplify LTPs reach and impact. The contractor is ideally a creative storyteller with experience in digital marketing, graphic design, and content creation.
Scope of Work
🔹 Social Media Management
● Develop and schedule social media content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
● Monitor engagement and interact with our online community to foster connection.
● Track key social media metrics and recommend improvements.
🔹 Content Creation & Branding
● Design flyers, manuals, newsletters, and promotional materials to support our programs and outreach.
● Maintain brand consistency across all digital and print materials.
● Write compelling copy for social media, website updates, and email campaigns.
🔹 Strategic Communications
● Assist in developing marketing campaigns that promote Latinx Therapist Project’s mission and programs.
● Support the creation of donor and sponsor communications.
● Research trends in nonprofit marketing and implement best practices.
Expertise Required:
✅ Required:
● Experience designing flyers, manuals, newsletters, and promotional materials to support our programs and outreach.
● Experience with brand consistency across digital and print materials.
● Experience developing marketing campaigns
● Experience using email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
● Experience in social media management and content creation.
● Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools.
● Strong writing skills with an ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
● Passion for mental health advocacy, the Latinx community, and increasing access to mental health services.
● Bilingual in Spanish to be able to translate our materials into Spanish
