The Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition’s (CSPC) mission is to build power and support a movement
in marginalized communities of families and childcare providers to change
systems, build leaders, and train families and providers to be the strongest
and best advocates for their children to succeed in school and beyond. CSPC
is
searching for a temporary full time bilingual campaign organizer to support the
grassroots organizing efforts for the Protect Colorado’s Future Graduated
Income Tax ballot campaign.
 

This position is a temporary full-time exempt position. CSPC values our employees

Key responsibilities: 

Goals:

  • 1. secure enough valid signatures to place initiative 195 on the ballot for November 2026.  
  • 2. Should 195 be certified the goal shifts to passing the ballot measure.  

Objectives: 

Recruit, train, and support the management of
volunteers statewide for petition collection and validation
 

Collect signatures at events, canvassing door to
door, campaign events.
 

Attend the Grassroots Protect Colorado’s Future
(PCF) committee meetings
 

Plan and execute events to recruit volunteers and
collect signatures across the state
 

Work in coalition with the other grassroots
organizations in the PCF coalition to maximize effectiveness
 

Once the ballot is certified for the ballot, must
have an ability to shift into campaign mode to educate voters to support the
graduated income tax.
 

Qualifications: 

  • Bilingual English/Spanish 
  • Experience working on ballot measure campaign 
  • Must be available nights and weekends 
  • Reliable transportation to travel the state 
  • Experience in collecting signatures for a ballot or
    candidate
     
  • Skilled in using VAN, cutting turf, and identifying
    key locations to canvass for signatures
     
  • Detailed oriented

Location 

This position is based
in Colorado. All employees must live in Colorado. All employees work remotely
and their home residence is considered their official place of employment.
  

Compensation 

This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range
of $60,000/year. This position ends on November 6th, 2026, unless
the ballot measure does not secure enough signatures, this position will
terminate in August of 2026.
