Job Description:
Mission
Denver Food Rescue’s (DFR) mission is to increase health equity with Denver neighborhoods. DFR achieves this by resourcing fresh produce and delivering it to community-organized No Cost Grocery Programs (NCGPs). DFR works alongside grassroots leadership to support food security, food sovereignty, and social justice in the Denver Metro area. DFR believes that health is a right that should be enjoyed by everyone, and that a person’s health should not be determined by their race, income, or geography.
Position Description
Denver Food Rescue (DFR) is seeking a full time creative Development Manager to work alongside the Executive Director (ED) to create and manage DFR’s donor programs and the implementation of a community centric fundraising plan. Collaborate with the ED to create a development plan which increases brand awareness and revenue to support the strategic direction of DFR. You will also assist the ED in organizing DFR events, work with community partners, and food donors. This is an outstanding entry level opportunity for a motivated, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about health equity, social justice, and food security.
