Job Description: 

The Narrative Enneagram (TNE) seeks a Marketing Director who is passionate about TNE and our mission to transform lives and build a more compassionate world. We have seen a 30% increase in our program attendance over the past year and need a Marketing Director who can build on that momentum to engage a larger and more diverse audience, while strengthening our existing community of certified teachers and practitioners. To support that growth, we are currently in the design phase of a new website and modern technology platform to be launched in 2021.

About The Narrative Enneagram –   TNE is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives and building a more compassionate world. We advance human consciousness, self-awareness, interpersonal understanding and communication skills through our pioneering Narrative Enneagram curriculum, which integrates psychology, spirituality and somatics.  Our Core Curriculum includes foundational programs and certification tracks for Narrative Enneagram teachers and professionals who work one-to-one with clients. Areas of Responsibility
  • STRATEGY: Plan, budget, develop and implement all of TNE’s marketing strategies, tactics, and internal and external communications in coordination with staff, faculty, board members and other TNE stakeholders. Monitor ROI on marketing strategies and tactics, adjusting as needed. Support TNE fundraising initiatives.
  • BRANDING: Maintain brand voice, messaging and design consistency across all communication channels, including our website, social media, email marketing and printed communications.
  • CREATIVE: Write, design, produce and distribute marketing content (print and online), including e-blasts, e-newsletters, annual reports, Enneagram guides, flyers, other print collateral, video storytelling and podcasts.
  • EDITORIAL: Edit all public-facing communications to assure high and consistent editorial standards. Solicit, edit and schedule blog posts and articles.
  • SOCIAL MEDIA: Develop and continuously improve social media strategy. Post compelling ongoing content. Design graphics. Potential to reduce hours and delegate social media tasks to consultant.
  • WEBSITE: Develop or solicit website content, edit and post using CMS or delegate posting to others as applicable. Spearhead efforts to increase SEO visibility. Oversee solutions to website issues. In the short term, work with Executive Director to bring new website development project to completion. Work extensively with a CRM to manage constituent data, which will be integrated with new website to drive dynamic website content.
  • PUBLIC RELATIONS AND OUTREACH: Coordinate media interest in TNE, respond to media requests, cultivate strategic partnerships for cross-promotion marketing, and set up and host Zoom sessions.
  • MANAGEMENT: Manage marketing team members, independent contractors and volunteers, delegating tasks
    where applicable.
