Job Description: 

CPEP is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare here in Colorado and beyond. We help clinicians and other health professionals from across the U.S. and Canada in our intensive, skill-building educational seminars. The PROBE Program is a non-adversarial ethics and boundaries educational intervention.  This personalized Program targets participants’ professional misconduct. Intensive discussions and case analysis facilitate the participant “probing” into their ethical misstep and recommitting to professional ideals. The Program is designed to fulfill regulatory body or credentialing requirements for ethics remediation.  With CPEP’s help, these professionals learn, grow, and continue to serve the patients and communities who need them.

 

Interested in joining our team? We are looking for a professional with experience in biomedical/healthcare ethics who is interested in serving as Program Manager. The successful candidate will offer expertise in healthcare ethics to support the Program Director in oversight of the PROBE Program, serve as primary representative for and oversee communication with participants and referring organizations, and manage seminar-specific processes and curriculum.  Experience as teaching faculty in an academic or professional setting is ideal.

Areas of Responsibility

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Support Program Director in oversight of PROBE Program 
  • Manage participant approval process including review of submissions for adequacy to determine eligibility and participation
  • Manage communication with faculty regarding upcoming seminar participants
  • Manage release of faculty-written participant performance reports
  • Supervise staff as assigned
  • Ultimately serve as seminar teaching faculty, as assigned
  • Seminar support
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of biomedical ethics and professionalism
  • Able to organize and manage detail effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce or similar program
  • Capable of effectively handling time-sensitive tasks in a quickly changing environment
  • Able to work in a team setting, to think strategically, and to approach problems from a constructive, collaborative perspective
  • Education/Experience Master’s degree in biomedical ethics or related field required. Experience in healthcare ethics preferred. Professional experience in higher education a plus.

Salary and Benefits

Salary:  $55,000 - $75,000 per year including health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off and other benefits.
