PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following functions and other duties as assigned.
Participate with Program Staff in Application screening sessions for potential residents.
Facilitate “Success Plan” development with clients, partner agencies, and staff that determines goals, action steps, and timelines for achievement. Provide written Success Plan and follow ups to all parties and record in client file.
Evaluate information from Success Plans and Self Sufficiency Matrix to develop a robust training curriculum to build competencies with identified needs of residents. Support clients’ career development goals.
Identify area businesses or local volunteers with desired knowledge to provide in-house trainings and administer performance / content evaluation. Recommend off-site local trainings and webinars and maintain records of completion from training entities.
Supervise paid and volunteer staffing for on-site children/youth Tutoring activities.
Navigate relationships with key staff at SVVSD to support education progress towards high school graduation for students living independently at The Inn.
Provide effective communication to update and encourage resident participation around relevant training opportunities.
Work closely with Program Staff to monitor client progress. Track and create status reports on training implementation and completion, and maintain records in client files and data files.
Create/Maintain database integrity together with internal staff.
Recommend training materials and methodology and maintain in-house training equipment and spaces.
