Conduct market research and relationship-building to support broad pick up in Spanish language media in targeted states.
Systematically build and enhance relationships with many more Spanish media outlets and talk shows and add these outlets to the PNS distribution system
In-depth conversations with these outlets to find out what content they want related to educational topics of interest to their audiences.
Identify and build relationships with Spanish-speaking spokespeople for these stories and additional talk show interviews, as far as resources allow.
On an ongoing basis, advise and alert outlets to stories distributed through the PNS network that might interest these journalists and their audience/communities.
Successful candidates will have:
Excellent English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills
3 – 5 years of work experience in the Spanish journalism and/or communications industry. Contacts in the Spanish language radio space is a real plus.
Successful relationship builder with demonstrable success in creating productive partnerships
Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Google Suite products
Experience working within a virtual team
Hours: Part time (flexible schedule) and ongoing. This is a virtual (home-based) role.
