Mariah joined Colorado Nonprofit Association in January of 2019 as the Membership Coordinator. She assists with ensuring our members are receiving their various benefits and supporting them in strengthening the communities they serve. Mariah graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Sociology, concentration in Criminal Justice and a minor in Cultural Anthropology.
As a research assistant for the Center for Disaster and Risk Analysis, her passion for learning and understanding how groups of people are affected by natural disasters and various systems grew. Mariah also has a passion for travel. She has visited multiple European countries and explored the southern regions of Ghana. In her spare time, you can find Mariah dreaming of future travel plans, playing volleyball, or spending time with friends and family.
Amy serves as the Manager of Special Projects, where she leads special events for the Association and its members. Amy has led projects, such as national grass-roots fundraising campaigns, cause marketing programs, and large events, for nonprofit organizations and corporate foundations for 20 years.
She strives to provide an inclusive and energized learning environment at every event to foster “bright ideas” that continue to make our community stronger. Amy has a Journalism degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, enjoying an IPA, and experiencing the Colorado outdoors.
