Event Description
Learning Objectives

In this fast-paced, four-part workshop, nonprofit executives and governing board members will experience an engaging and interactive learning opportunity:

·Part One—Participants learn how to develop and maintain a strategic focus with their governing board, engaging them at the highest level.

·Part Two—Participants assess their own current strategic plan in comparison to the eight key outcomes from planning outlined in the Colorado Nonprofit Association’s Principles and Practices publication.

·Part Three—Participants learn how to engage their key constituents and major donors in a strategic planning validation process to generate enthusiasm and resources.

·Part Four—Participants are inspired by real world examples of peer nonprofit organizations that have realized an exponential return from their investment in strategic planning.


Senior leadership and governing board members from nonprofit organizations of all sizes are encouraged to attend this advanced-level training workshop.
