Are you and your team on the same page about programming? Do you feel disconnected or out of the loop about other departments? Logic models are an invaluable tool for increasing communication and clarity between stakeholders, both inside and outside of your organization. In this training, participants will learn how to develop, refine, and implement logic models for program planning, evaluation, fundraising, AND getting your team on the same page. Participants will walk away with a logic model template to use with their organization.

Learning Objectives

Participants will…

  • Understand the benefits and uses of logic models to bring down silos

  • Learn how to create, refine, and implement logic models as a team

  • Begin developing a logic model for their programs

Amanda Wallander Roberts, MSSW, Capacity Building Consulting

Amanda Wallander Roberts, MSSW, is the founder and principal consultant at Capacity Building Consulting, which supports social sector organizations in fundraising and evaluation. Amanda has more than ten years of experience working in programs serving children and youth and utilizes this experience to inform her work in fundraising, evaluation, and program development. She has directly worked with more than 60 social organizations to build capacity in fundraising and/or evaluation, including raising over $22 million, developing 50 logic models, evaluation plans, and process maps, and providing coaching for nonprofit leaders. Additionally, one of her community impact evaluations was recently published as a peer-reviewed chapter in “Public Health, Social Work, and Health Inequalities.”

Qualifies for Excellence in Nonprofit Principles and Practices. Completion of a post-training evaluation is required for this training to count toward recognition.
