This is part of our Community-Powered Response Training Series, a series responding to our sector's needs during the COVID-19 pandemic for Colorado nonprofit professionals to stay informed and educated, connect virtually, provide mutual support and generate community-powered solutions.

Colorado Nonprofit Association will continue to offer educational and training opportunities for nonprofit professionals while following government guidelines and public health recommendations to keep our community safe. Communications during tough times: how to maintain communications with your constituents during times of crisis. Learn tips for implementing new communication channels, why segmenting your audience matters, and the importance of refining your message to stay on-brand while being sensitive to changing and challenging times.

Presenters

Laurel Prud'homme is the Vice President of Communications for the Downtown Partnership of Colorado Springs, the lead nonprofit organization promoting an economic and culturally vibrant city center. Currently, she is responsible for stakeholder and customer communications, marketing, consumer-facing campaign development and implementation, and social media oversight. Her career has included marcom positions in large corporate nonprofit and for profit companies, as well as graphic design and consulting for over 25 years. Outside of work, Laurel is a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence.
