ALICE is a research-based, proactive approach to responding to an active shooter situation which authorizes and empowers those engaged in such an event to utilize existing building infrastructure, technology, and human action to increase their chance of survival.

Event Description
Presenters

Julie Schafer joined HUB International Insurance Services in 2013 and specializes in nonprofit insurance strategy. Julie works with multiple large social services accounts and has extensive knowledge in building and servicing risk management solutions specific to the nonprofit landscape. Julie attended Colorado State University – Pueblo where she studied Business Management and she also completed the courses required to obtain an Associate in Risk Management. Julie is a certified ALICE Training Institute Instructor. 



Julie acts in collaboration with the clients and all members of the HUB team on the various aspects of property & casualty insurance programs. She is a thought leader in account management, underwriting and renewal negotiations, and carrier relationship management. Additionally she advises on program development, risk management & loss control.
