Course Description: 

Articulated Intelligence, on behalf of the Colorado Nonprofit Association, invites you to join and participate in this 60 minutes collaborative experience “The Stories We Tell”.

The stories you tell are a driving force for you and your organization. It’s what moves people to action, makes your organization/presentation/idea memorable and allows others to share your story. Learn the With 1 Word® storytelling method to find a collection of stories for different situations and audiences, work through a process to shape them so they hold your audience's attention, then share them out loud, as they always sound different when spoken vs. in our heads. In this interactive workshop you’ll learn how to search for stories for any situation, how to shape them for maximum impact, and how to share them with authenticity and confidence.

Course Objectives: 

• Walk away with a repeatable process for finding stories for any situation or audience
• Learn the SARM formula for crafting stories that are specific, concise, and memorable
• See firsthand how practicing out loud transforms your delivery, stories, and relationships

Keith Bailey

Keith has had a passion for public speaking since experiencing a seminal moment in the 4th grade while delivering a book report. From the hospitality industry to global corporate sales, he learned the power of storytelling for profit, influence and fun.

During his 16 years as a coach, his 8 years as a Toastmaster, and his ongoing involvement in the National Speakers Association, Keith has learned that good speakers are created, not born. To give everyone the opportunity to live life well spoken Keith started Articulated Intelligence, a communication up-leveling firm where he developed a gamified storytelling technique called With 1 Word ®. He and the Articulated Intelligence team focus on networking and storytelling to build personal and professional brands, promote ideas, sell products/services and make human interactions more interesting and memorable.
