Board Governance

Eloise Casdorph

With a wealth of experience spanning nearly 20 years in government and social services, Eloise Casdorph brings a dynamic perspective to the realm of nonprofit development. Eloise has dedicated her career to various nonprofit causes, such as youth organizations, mental health counseling, domestic violence services, and disaster relief agencies.

Eloise's unique blend of analytical thinking and creativity positions her as a skilled nonprofit consultant. Her strength lies in effective interpersonal communication, coupled with a talent for excellently narrating the impactful stories of nonprofit agencies. Having served on several boards, Eloise currently holds the role of Nonprofit Strategist at Nonprofit Navigators, a nonprofit consulting company dedicated to helping nonprofits map their path to success. In her capacity, she specializes in board development, program development, and grant writing, contributing significantly to the strategic growth and effectiveness of the organizations she serves.

Development

Leah Goss

Leah has a twenty year career in fundraising with a career total of over $40 million raised in her various roles. Her experience includes community college fundraising, a non-profit mental and behavioral health organization, and a non-profit national advocacy organization. In addition, as an independent consultant, she has conducted feasibility studies and directed a capital campaign for a homeless shelter. Leah is skilled in nonprofit management, strategic planning, communications, and team building. She earned an MBA at Regis University in Denver, focused on business development, marketing/communications, and non-profit management. She is currently providing fundraising and business development services through her company, Good Cause Solutions, LLC.

Finance

Steve Sauer

Steve is a member of FORVIS’ National Nonprofit Group and, for more than 15 years, has served a variety of domestic and international nonprofits.  He leads the Utah & Colorado Nonprofit attestation practice and Nonprofit advisory practice, which includes services such as outsourced CFO and Controller engagements, grants management, internal control and operational assessments, peer-to-peer benchmarking, best practice reviews, software selection and on-demand training/ educational/ governance resources. He is a frequent presenter, trainer and panelist for not-for-profit industry groups, including the Colorado Nonprofit Association and Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA).  Steve is a regular author and instructor for FORVIS’ nationally acclaimed FORsights® as well as FORVIS’ annual Nonprofit seminar and has served on a variety of FORVIS internal office inspections as well as firmwide task forces to research and implement significant standards changes, including FASB’s Revenue from Contracts with Customers and Presentation of Financial Statements of Not-for-Profit Entities and the AICPA’s Group Audit standards.

Marketing and Communications

Lauren Noser

Lauren Noser is a Senior Director at GFM|CenterTable, an integrated marketing communications agency based in Denver, where she supports nonprofit, government and health care clients in achieving strategic communications goals. She has over a decade of experience in public relations, advocacy communications, public affairs, campaign development and issues management. Prior to her work at GFM|CenterTable, she worked at Children’s Hospital Colorado leading communications campaigns for advocacy initiatives and at a global PR firm in Washington, D.C. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Journalism and Mass Communication and Political Science.
