Build a Campaign in a Day Workshop
The Colorado Nonprofit Association, in partnership with PBS12 and Barefoot PR, is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for a small group of Colorado nonprofits to strengthen their fundraising capacity and build a compelling campaign strategy.
Are you a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing (or fiscally sponsored) with an annual operating budget between $500,000 and $1 million? Are you ready to strengthen your next fundraising campaign and available to join us in person in downtown Denver on August 26? If so, we encourage you to apply.
Build a Campaign in a Day is a highly selective, hands-on workshop designed to help nonprofit leaders develop a practical fundraising campaign they can implement immediately. Throughout the day, you'll work alongside fundraising, communications, branding, storytelling, and media professionals from Colorado Nonprofit Association, PBS12, and Barefoot PR to create a campaign tailored to your organization's goals.
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with:
- A fundraising campaign framework customized for your organization
- Clear campaign goals, messaging, and next steps
- A communications plan to guide outreach throughout your campaign
- Key campaign messaging and content
- Professionally designed Canva assets for email, social media, and direct outreach
- A professionally produced 15-second and 30-second video interview
- Expert feedback from fundraising, communications, branding, and media professionals
- A practical roadmap you can begin implementing immediately
Only six nonprofit organizations will be selected to participate, ensuring each receives personalized attention throughout the experience. Organizations may send up to two participants to attend the full-day workshop.
For just $500, participants will receive guidance and resources that would typically cost thousands of dollars through separate consulting engagements. The value of this experience far exceeds the registration fee.
Participants will be selected based on the strength of their application, their ability to attend the full-day workshop in person on August 26, and their commitment to completing the required pre-work to maximize the impact of the experience.
Applications are due July 17, 2026.
