About the Workshop

This is a highly interactive experience focused on the proven lessons of leaders at their best. It will focus is on specific, understandable and practical behaviors that can be learned and applied immediately to improve your impact in your organizations and community.

Along with the workshop you will also receive a copy of The Leadership Challenge, 6th edition, the workbook and The Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) which provides you feedback about your current strengths and opportunities.

The workshop will also provide you an opportunity to network and to create invaluable connections to other non-profit leaders in the Denver metro community.

About The Leadership Challenge

Approaching leadership as a measurable, learnable, and teachable set of behaviors, The Leadership Challenge framework grew out of rigorous research that first began in 1982 when Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner set out to understand those times when leaders performed at their personal best.

They conducted hundreds of interviews and reviewed hundreds of cases studies and survey questionnaires. What emerged were five fundamental practices common to extraordinary leadership achievements.

Now known worldwide as the most practical model of leadership development, The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® continues to prove its effectiveness in cultivating and liberating the leadership potential in anyone—at any level, in any organization—who chooses to accept the challenge to lead.   (

The cost is $150 to cover food/facilities.  RSVP is due by February 22nd.  Contact Amanda Nelson at or 303.638.7651 for more information.
