What social media platform is right for my organization?

Which social media tools are right for your nonprofit? How can you use these tools to expand your network, enhance your communications strategies, strengthen relationships, increase awareness and raise money?

When considering how your nonprofit can benefit from using social media, it’s important to consider the energy, time, and talents required. While putting up a Facebook page or uploading a You Tube video has a very small monetary cost, to effectively implement a social media strategy will require substantial staff and/or volunteer time. Depending on your goals, it may be important to consider hiring additional help as well.
