About Us

Nieves Ministries is a faith-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting underserved communities through education, economic empowerment, and public safety. Rooted in service and guided by compassion, we operate multiple outreach programs that meet the diverse needs of our community. Our initiatives include: • Vertex Academy – An alternative education ministry in partnership with HOPE Online Learning Academy and The Lounge, launching in the 2025–2026 school year to provide a supportive drop-in learning center for high school students seeking a new path to graduation. • The Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Colorado – A cultural and economic initiative designed to uplift Puerto Rican-owned businesses, foster entrepreneurship, and celebrate Puerto Rican heritage through events such as Viva La Isla Del Encanto Fest. • Pinnacle Defense – Colorado’s first nonprofit security firm, providing affordable, community-centered safety services for businesses, events, and faith-based organizations while supp
