Kristin Todd

President & CEO


Kristin has dedicated her career to helping those in need through strategic philanthropy, community partnerships, and a steadfast commitment to donor stewardship. She is a nationally respected leader in philanthropy who was honored as Colorado’s Outstanding Grantmaker in 2019 by the National Philanthropy Day organization and was recently named one of Denver’s Mile High Leaders and Outstanding Women in Business by the Denver Business Journal.

In 2021, Kristin joined the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado as President and CEO. Prior to this role, Kristin served as Executive Vice President for the Daniels Fund, one of the largest private foundations in the Rocky Mountain West.

Kristin has served on numerous boards including the Colorado Nonprofit Association, Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, CUBE Charter High School, Boy Scouts Denver Area Council, University of Colorado School of Public Affairs, and the US Air Force Academy Foundation. Kristin serves on El Pomar Foundation’s Trustees Advisory Council and, over the years, has been appointed to serve on several state commissions and advisory councils related to philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. Kristin was selected for the inaugural class of the Colorado Governors Fellowship Program and was a gubernatorial appointee to the Colorado Workforce Development Council.

Kristin graduated with honors from the University of Georgia, earning both magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa distinction. She earned her master’s degree in public administration, with a concentration in nonprofit management, from the University of Colorado.
