Phil is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Southeastern Colorado American Red Cross and is a part of the Colorado & Wyoming Red Cross Team where he is fulfilling his passion to serve those in need during their most difficult times. It has always been his goal to utilize his talents and skills to serve others and have a lasting positive impact on their lives.
Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Phil studied Business Management and Broadcasting at Colorado State University-Pueblo, Phil had many years of management and radio broadcasting experience (Iheart radio), where he served as production director, program director and executive management. In addition, he served as President/CEO for his own production company, working with many Fortune 500 companies and producing top results for them. His experiences have produced many award-winning commercials, narratives, television voice-overs in English and Spanish for some of the largest companies in America. Soon thereafter, the company rapidly grew to include concert promotions, talent agency, and producing leadership seminars for managers of large companies. His leadership and experience have allowed him to work with and interview top actors, musicians, and comedians across the country (Three Dog Night, Tim McGraw, Billie Currington, George Lopez, Mario Lopez, Garth Brooks and more).
After years of serving in the private sector, Phil changed careers to pursue his passion in servant leadership and made a change to the nonprofit sector where he has been a leader for over 15 years. Most recently he oversaw territories in Nevada/Arizona/New Mexico, assisting our service members and families and veterans with critical financial needs as an executive leader. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Director for one of the worlds top military non-profits, traveling to most military bases across the country.
Phil has offices in Colorado Springs and Pueblo and has a son that is a freshman at Colorado State. He is proud to join the Colorado Nonprofit Association Board and offer his experiences and input to his cohorts.
