Helping Community Based Organizations Improve Lives
emBOLDen Alliances is a global nonprofit with a mission to improve the lives of vulnerable communities through collaborative partnerships that emBOLDen the quality and impact of health and humanitarian services. We believe that every person deserves and has a right to life with health, dignity and an opportunity for fulfillment.
We recognize that locally-based organizations are often best positioned to make this a reality. Therefore, emBOLDen Alliances was founded with the goal of helping community-based organizations achieve their vision for betterment for their own communities.
Utilizing Our Team's 65+ years of experience hands-on in international development and humanitarian crises, we go the Last Mile with our partners to help them measure impact, maximize resources and reach their next level with customized, tested tools and skills.
We have seen our model’s success with more than 15 partners in 11 countries – from a student group in the U.S. to a locally-based organization serving forgotten communities in Uganda, from leading a robust community-based response to the 2015 earthquakes in Nepal to helping a hospital group revamp its short-term medical missions to better align with community vision. Thus far, we have received three global innovation awards in recognition of our model.
Our promises to our partners:
- We listen and meet you where you are – your context and challenges are unique.
- We deliver individualized guidance to help you achieve your goals.
- We assist you with hands-on support to ensure successful implementation.
- We prepare and emBOLDen your team to be self-sufficient and for your impact to be sustainable.
The measure of our success is the ability to step back when we are no longer needed and watch our emBOLDened partners accomplish even more for their own communities.
Unanimous feedback from our partners to date reveals that every organization is better able to positively impact their communities directly as a result of our partnerships.
