According to a study by the Governance & Accountability Institute, 82 percent of S&P 500 companies published a corporate sustainability (or corporate responsibility) report in 2016, a significant increase from 2011.
The significant increase in the number of businesses with a corporate responsibility report suggests an opportunity for nonprofits to foster more relationships with corporate partners.
Nonprofits can use these reports to help identify potential corporate partners that align with their mission.
