Our team expressed their sincere admiration and excitement for Amber...
Amber's influence in our nonprofit family in Colorado Springs is widespread. She loves this community, and it's apparent in her work with the Association. Daily, she is meeting with people who play many roles in the nonprofit sector. I've witnessed many of these meetings and how she listens and offers useful advice to each person. Each session and person is different than the last, but the same thing happens every time. At the end of those meetings, she suggests someone they should meet or an organization they should get to know. She understands how connecting with others in this community will not only help them but make our community stronger. I have seen how some of those connections she had made for others have turned into meaningful partnerships that make our community better. ~ Amy Black, Manager of Special Projects at Colorado Nonprofit Association
Amber usually has more than one thing going on at a time. She arrives fashionably late to parties only because she is coming from another training or event. Sometimes someone else is there in her stead, her mom, for example, or a good friend. Others are more than willing to jump in and help out when it comes to her work because she inspires them. Her influence in the community is brought out through her actions, setting examples both personally and professionally on how to be authentic, how to be contemplative, and how to be invested in the community. ~ Lindsay Newman, Partnership Engagement Manager at Colorado Nonprofit Association
Amber shines so bright and contributes so much to so many causes. I have the utmost respect for her. She is a fierce advocate, a fiery professional, and a compassionate soul. I am inspired daily by her dedication to inclusivity, diversity, and authenticity. Amber's influence was apparent when she graced the stage at Colorado Nonprofit Conference with power, purpose, and poise. Being honored as a Woman of Influence is AMAZING and so well-deserved. I am so excited to celebrate you, Amber! ~ Maureen Maycheco, Communications Director at Colorado Nonprofit Association
